William Rumburg, age 84, of Curlew went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Pinewood Terrace in Colville. He was born December 27, 1933 in Wenatchee to parents William and Martha Rumburg. Will served in the Air Force and Army Reserve in both Korea and Vietnam. He was married to Nellie Kooy and they later divorced. Will enjoyed life, loved to go fishing and visiting with friends. On December 21, 1991 Will married the love of his life, Carol and spent twenty-seven years with her. He was a member of the Tonasket American Legion and will be missed greatly.

Will is survived by his wife Carol of Curlew, daughter-in-law Teresa "Terry" Taylor of Republic, two sons John and Pieter, two grandchildren Elizabeth (Daane-her husband) Hagen of Wenatchee and Sam Rumburg of West Richland, first cousin, Mike Palmer of Seattle and also Will's dog Tyke.

Will was preceded in death by his father, mother and oldest son Richard and will join them in Heaven.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 11:00 AM at the Republic Catholic Church with Father Richard Semple presiding. The family requests that memorials be made, by way of Bergh Funeral Service, to help cover funeral expenses or to Hospice of Spokane.
