On Tuesday, October 10th, 2017, God saw that Bill had suffered enough and took him home. He was surrounded by loving family and peacefully slipped away.
Bill was born March 12th, 1940 in Rogersville, M.O. to parents Glenn and Gladys Greene.
Bill and his family moved to Washington to make Oroville their home. A place he dearly loved. He graduated from Oroville High School and joined the Army. He served two years. He was in the Honor Guard and walked guard on the tomb of the unknown soldier. He was able to take his wife, Joyce, there to visit later.
Bill was married to Joyce Forney on March 26th, 1961. They had three children; Jim, Tim, and Shannon.
Bill loved his apple ranch; his best memories are riding on his tractor. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children; Jim Greene, Tim Greene, Shannon (Kenny) Neal, grandchildren; Benton Greene and Kasey Neal, and sisters; Barbara Shaw of Oroville and Nancy Zimmerman of Olympia. He was preceded death by his loving wife Joyce Greene.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Oroville Riverview Cemetery October 17th, 2017 at 11:00AM. Please make memorials to "Our House" in Wenatchee. Bergh Funeral Service of Oroville in care of arrangements.
