William E. Kidwell, passed away on October 6 ^th 2020 at Ferry County Memorial Hospital. William was born on February 20, 1956, the son of Sam and Rose Kidwell, he weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces. He was born to four older siblings and had four younger siblings. "Wild Bill from Flag Hill" always had an ear to ear smile on his face. Always happy to help family, neighbors and friends. Bill was creative and artistic; his homemade gifts and inventive creations were treasured. Bill was quite the athlete; he played offensive and defensive line in football and was the team kicker; he went on to place 2 ^nd at the 1975 state championships in wrestling.

Bill attended Republic High School and graduated on May 30 as a member of the class of 1975. William married Sandra Ferguson on September 10 ^th 1977. They had two girls Tarra Jean and Amy Lynn.  Bill had five grandchildren Blake and Sarah Strandberg and Allison, Emery and Isobel Burbank.

Wild Bill's favorite pastimes include fishing all day; dirt bike racing; hunting deer and elk; riding horses and chasing cows; watching the Seahawks football and Gonzaga basketball; watching horse races with his brothers; riding his four-wheeler on the ranch; above all Bill loved being social with friends and silly with grandkids.

Bill drove forklift for Vaagen Brothers Lumber for approximately twenty years until it closed. Bill worked around the Ferguson/ Gotham ranch, building fence, chasing cows, and taking late night calls for cows on the highway.

Bill loved very deep and will be missed by all that knew him. We ask that you always remember his warm heart and caring smile. Bill had no sons, but treated his girls Tarra and Amy as one of the "boys". The girls were brought up shooting hoops, riding and racing bicycles, changing oil, changing tires, and getting dirty with their dad. Bill embraced his son in laws Russell and Jerred, and treated them as his own sons.

William was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Rose Kidwell, and his younger brother John Kidwell. His Surviving relatives include wife of 43 years Sandy; daughters Tarra (Russell) Strandberg, Amy (Jerred) Burbank; grandchildren Blake Strandberg, Sarah Strandberg, Allison Burbank, Emery Burbank, and Isobel Burbank; three brothers Sam (DeeDee) Kidwell, Dan Kidwell, and Tom Kidwell; four sisters Brenda (Doug) Kellogg, Cynthia Kidwell, Wendy (Allen) Hill, Artie (Mike) McRae, and sister in-law Deb (Bryan) Gotham, and he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
