Virgil Jean (Hill) Slesnick age 82 of Wauconda died on Wednesday, February 20th at her home near Wauconda.She was born on Jan. 12, 1921 in Port Orchard to parents Allen and Jessie (Doyle) Hill. The family moved to Wauconda and Virgil attended school in Republic. She graduated from Republic High School in 1948 as Salutatorian of her class. Virgil lived in Reno, Nevada for many years where she worked as a cashier for the Flamingo Hilton. Following retirement, she moved back to Wauconda, where she enjoyed her flower gardens and reading. Virgil enjoyed crocheting and made many afghans for members of her family.

5 Nieces: Billie (Mike) Henry of Bremerton , Patti Taunt of Republic, Constance Martin of Wauconda, Donna (Jack) Lembcke of Curlew and Edna (William) Peck of Superior, MT.
Sister in Law: Frances Hill of Republic
Numerous Great and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
