Tessie Marcin passed away peacefully on February 2, 2012 she is survived by her sons David and wife Stace (Curlew, Wash), Jerome (Arizona) Thomas and his wife Dixie (Calif) and a granddaughter Danielle (Curlew Wash)

She was born in Newark, NJ then moved to Lackawanna, NY where she married Matthew Marcin. Her husband preceding her in death in 1956 and afterward she raised their 3 sons

During WWII Tess worked as a welder and riveter at Bethlehem Steel Plant, later in life becoming an officer at Bank of America World Headquarters and retiring as an employee of Lawrence Welk.

Tess was an author with over a dozen published books on philosophy, humor, religion, self-improvement and inspiration. She was also painter and sculptor.

Tess will be inurned at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, NY with a private service
She will be missed.
