Susan Kay Williams, age 73, of Tonasket, WA died May 29, 2021 in Seattle, WA. She was born July18, 1947 in Spokane, WA to parents Alvin and Coraline Hunter.

Susan spent the majority of her life in Tonasket, completing all of her schooling and graduating from Tonasket High School in 1965.  Growing up, she spent many summers in Wilbur, WA, enjoying family activities there. She married Gary Williams in April 1965.  In October 1965, her son, Tracy was born.  In May 1970, her daughter, Tammy was born.  That same year, Gary and Susan moved into her current home on First Street in Tonasket.

She began her career in banking at US Bank in 1976, retiring in April 2014 as the District Manager.  Susan was highly involved in community activities throughout her adult life, giving back to the Tonasket Community that she loved.

Susan's selfless giving flowed through not only her community, but deeply into her family.

She was proud member and contributor to the following: American Cancer Society, Red Cross Memorials, Tonasket Cheerleader Advisor, Tonasket Chamber Secretary, Tonasket City committee, Founders Day Parade, Volunteer Food Bank, Class of 65 reunion, All Class Reunion, President of Tonasket Community Scholarship, Banking 38 Years, & The Frame Shop.

Her Grandchildren lit up her life.  She had the gift of being able to create unique ways to spend time with everyone, which set her apart from others.  Birthdays, Holidays, Graduations, Sporting Events and Family Gatherings filled her life and ours with many special memories.

Wherever she roamed, her love of gardening, finding new unique varieties of plants, and taking care of them was a consistent devotion for so many years.

She is survived by her children:  son Tracy Williams (Linda), daughter Tammy Williams; grandchildren: JoLynn Davis (Michael), Cari Jo Valdovinos (Jr.), Megan Williams, and Susanna Williams, great grandchild Luna Kay Valdovinos, sister-in-law Sharon Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gary Williams.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 18 ^th @ 10:30 am at the Tonasket Cemetery with the Reverend Marilyn Wilder officiating.
