Michael Steven Brown "Steve" 68 of Curlew, WA
January 17, 1951 – June 11,2019
Steve was born to Evan and Doll Brown in Curlew, Washington on January 17,1951. After graduating from Curlew High School, Steve attended Eastern Washington University and graduated with his BA in education in 1973. He married the love of his life June Marsh in June of 1973. They moved back to Curlew where Steve had a wonderful career of logging and lumber with his Dad Evan. Steve had a passion for cattle ranching and worked hard to build a ranch for himself and his family. His life was filled with the joy of hunting, fishing, farming, ranching, logging and coaching.
Steve is survived by his spouse of 45 years, June (Marsh) Brown, his two children, Bowe Brown (Katie), and Stephanie Stout (Kevin), his brother Ed Pace (Donna), and his sisters Darlene Rucci (Joe), and Nancy Zalud (Robert), his grandchildren, Tristen Brown (Molly), Gunner Brown, Sadie Stout and Heidi Stout. He is preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Doll Brown, and his sister Joan Riley Pace.
Steve's service will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 11am at the Curlew School, officiated by Roger Thiele. There will be a potluck to follow in the school cafeteria.
