Gregory William and Ruth (Mortensen) Edwards, of Aeneas Valley in Tonasket, Washington both passed away. Ruth died on August 10, 2023 and Gregory died on September 1, 2023.

Greg was born on August 28, 1944 to his parents Elizabeth and Leland Edwards.

Greg was born and raised in North Hollywood, California. He later moved to Seattle, Washington and worked for Boeing as a ship fitter. He then moved to Okanogan County, where he built a log home with his son Justin. Greg worked at Les Schwab in Republic, Washington as a front-end alignment technician, and as custodian for Tonasket School and he also raised alfalfa hay. He ended his life married to Ruth Edwards. They married on August 26, 2000. Ruth worked for years at Regal Fruit in Tonasket, Washington. Greg and Ruth had no children together, but Ruth did have her pets. Ruth loved animals and had dogs, cats, pet ferrets, and parrots. Greg and Ruth loved their dogs, exotic fish – even a shark, fishing, watching movies and listening to music together.

Greg is survived by his children, Chad Edwards of Phoenix, Arizona, Alicia Edwards of Temple, Arizona, Lisa Forde of Colville, Washington, his sister Patricia Wagoner of Okanogan, Washington, brother Billy Edwards of Albuquerque, New Mexico and grandson Donavin Forde of Colville, Washington.

Greg is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Edwards, his parents Elizabeth and Leland Edwards and his son Justin Edwards.

Ruth is survived by her sisters, Janet Bush of Idaho and Marilyn Scofield of Washington.

A Celebration of Life for Greg and Ruthie will be held at a later date.
