OBITUARY

Rosalie M. Dunn age 86 of Curlew died on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 27, 1924 in Toroda to parents Henry and Marceline Nelson. Rosalie was raised in Curlew where she attended school graduating from Curlew High School. On October 5, 1941, she married Mickey Dunn in Curlew. Following marriage they moved to Tacoma where Mickey worked in the Shipyards. They lived in Spokane, Idaho and the Okanogan Valley before returning to Curlew in 1949. The next thirty years were spent living in Ellensburg until 1979 when they retired to Curlew. Rosalie enjoyed her community and was active in many local events. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Kettle River History Club. She enjoyed being with her family and was always glad to see her grandkids.

8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mickey, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

SERVICES

Rosary service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 7:00 PM and Mass will be said on Saturday, August 6, 2011 10:00 AM at the Republic Catholic Church with Father George Morbeck, presiding. Interment will follow the Mass at the Curlew Cemetery.
