Weaser

Molson Cemetery
Starts at 11:00 am
Robert "Bob" "Bobby" Eugene Weaser (79) passed away March 4, 2026 in Oroville, WA after a 2 1⁄2 year battle with three types of cancer. He was surrounded by family and friends when God called him Home. Robert was born in Tonasket Hospital April 28, 1946 to Robert and Alice Weaser of Molson, WA. They moved away from Molson when Bob was 14 years old but he returned to the Okanogan Valley as an adult, living and working in Malott, Tonasket and Oroville. Bob married Jessie Hotchkiss in 1966 and they had three children, Sheryl, Jack and Lewis. Bob was a farmer, orchardist and animal enthusiast. He loved horses as well as all of his dogs. He loved hunting, fishing and camping in his spare time. One of his favorite jobs was as a guide taking people into the back country on horseback. He also worked at the O & O Growers warehouse in Omak.
When Bob retired from the orchard industry he became a "snowbird" and lived in Yuma, AZ in the cooler months and returned to Orovlle/Tonasket for the summers. He enjoyed helping Jack with the horses and animals in the summer. Bob enjoyed going to Church with his church families in Spokane, Yuma, Oroville and Tonasket. His Pastor in Yuma passed away on the same day as Bob. He loved going to rodeos and fairs to watch his grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in various events. That was always a special time for him. He was glad they loved horses like he did.
Bob is survived by his wife Jessie, and son Jack from Oroville; son Lewis (Josh) from San Antonio, TX; sister, Patty (Dan) Nevdahl, Yuma, AZ; brother Jerald Weaser, Yuma, AZ; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Weaser and daughter Sheryl Hill.
A graveside service will be August 8th, 11am at Molson Cemetery. Afterwards we will gather for a potluck at the Oroville park across from Princes Center. For more info, text Jack at 509 560 9667.
