Randy Ray Sattler was born on Dec. 2, 1960 in Webster, South Dakota to parents Marlow & Wilma Sattler. He has 2 brothers, Gary Sattler & Jeff Sattler. In 1966, Randy's family moved to Republic, Washington and at the age of 17, he went into the Army where he served 3 years. While in the Army, he spent some time in Germany. After returning home in 1980, Randy meet his future Bride, Kathy in the Tri Cities. They moved to Republic in 1987 to start their lives together. They got married on June 11th, 1988 and together they raised 4 children, Devvi McGee, Virginia Alexander, Vonda Sattler, & Marlow Sattler. He was a family man who loved spending time with his children and especially his 3 granddaughters, Gracelynn, Kylee, & Kaitlynne. His life work was logging the forests of Northeast Washington. After family & work, he spent time helping with various events within the community including, prospectors days logging events, the motorcycle rally, and he was President of the Eagle Track Raceway for 6 years. Randy was a lifetime member of the Eagle Track Racing Association, lifetime member of the NRA, and an Active Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Randy also loved the great outdoors and especially loved hunting & fishing with his friends & family.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 11:00 AM at the Republic Catholic Church with a military graveside service following at the Republic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to H.O.P.E. School 3110 N. Riverpoint Blvd. Ste V Spokane, WA 99202
