Patricia Ann Dejong 78 of Tonasket died on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at her son’s home in Oroville. She was born July 18, 1947 in Tonasket and grew up in Wauconda with her dad and stepmom. As an adult she moved to be close to her sister, Mary, in Trail, BC where she met Donald Dejong. They married and had two sons, Lou and Clayton. Patty moved back to Tonasket and worked many jobs until becoming a cook at North Valley Hospital where she retired from. She lived a very happy and full filled life around her family and friends. Patty was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Patty is survived by her sons Lou and Clayton Dejong, sister Carol Ross, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her companion Skip Brazil, and sisters Mary Sasse and Linda McKinsey.

Private family services will be held.
