Obituary

Olive Grace Rutledge Gray was led into the loving care of her savior on August 23, 2011. She was born on April 3, 1916 in the Chewiliken Valley to parents Ivason A. and Hazel Dell Rutledge. Olive grew up in the Tonasket area. She went to business school and began her working career at a bank in Okanogan during the depression of the 1930's. In January 1941, she married Wesley Gray and after her children were born she continued her career as a bookkeeper for an apple warehouse in Tonasket until her retirement in the early 1980's. Olive had a keen sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke with people. She also loved cars and enjoyed driving them. She was a member of the Tonasket Free Methodist Church. The love she gave her family, her positive attitude and her wonderful sense of humor will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Olive is survived by:

Son, Stephen Gray and Daughter, Gayle Robinson

Two Grandsons, Jeremiah and Jordan Robinson, Four Great Grandchildren, Grace, Lance, Reese, and Wesley Robinson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Olive was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Gray.

Graveside services will be held Thursday September 1, 2011 1:00 PM at the Tonasket Cemetery. A Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Tonasket Bible Church (Formerly the Tonasket Free Methodist Church) at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 20 in Tonasket.
