Mo Hulse passed away on June 4, 2021 peacefully of natural causes. Born Mildred Moiselle Morrison in Hartford, Arkansas, on July 20 ^th 1945. Mo was the daughter of Mildred and Paul Morrison as well as sister to three siblings, Sherry, Larry and Eddy.

Mo was a pioneer in the food service industry reaching the position of management in a time when women we're typically not in management roles, she was extremely successful in her career field having been management, executive management, food broker and business owner of catering services and restaurants.

In the 1990's, Mo came to fall in love with Ferry County which reminded her of her childhood home in Riddle, Oregon. Her oldest son Eric Hulse moved to the area and Mo sand roots here shortly thereafter while still traveling for her work.

Upon retiring, Mo was able to call Ferry County her full-time home in her little house in Curlew up on the hill. In 2017, Mo married Michael Hanks, they got married in the little blue Church up on the hill overlooking Curlew. Mo was an active member of the community and attended church services in Curlew as well as volunteering at the thrift store in Republic.

My mother would often speak about the peace and beauty that she found here in the valley. She had spent so much of her life striving for the next step, but ultimately discovered that all of her success brought her back around to a peaceful, simpler way of life in Curlew with Michael, a man that she absolutely adored. She took great pride and loved her flowers; she especially enjoyed when the visitors with the garden tour would come by.

In her own words, she had an exceptional life. She had a successful career, the opportunity to travel the world, including Paris France, Edinboro Scotland, London England and Ireland. She referred to her exploits as adventures.

She is survived by her husband Michael Hanks and her two sons, Eric and Trevor Hulse. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
