Melvin "Skip" Ivan Robison, age 89, of Curlew, passed away on New Year's Eve 2022. Skip was born in Burnett WA, at home, on January 13 ^th 1933 to parents Ted and Emma Robison and spent 20+ years of his life in Enumclaw, WA before moving to Curlew, WA where he spent the rest of his life.

He was married to Beverly "Bev" (Coty) Robison for 59 wonderful years. Together they had three sons; Todd Robison, deceased. Gilbert Robison (wife Patty and three children; Ridge, Ryder, and Kennedy Robison).  Ty Robison, deceased (wife Renee and three children; Farrah (Jeremy) McClain, Chanz (Kaylla) Robison, and Levi Robison). Skip also has two

great-grandchildren; Cash and Remi Robison (Chanz & Kaylla). Melvin is survived by his sister Lorna (Sylvia) Buchanan of Mt. Vernon, WA.

When Skip wasn't busy running his successful logging business, he enjoyed traveling. In his many life adventures, he was able to experience both logging and gold panning in Guatemala along with fishing in many areas of Mexico, Canada, and Alaska. He also spent many winter months in Arizona as a snowbird where he enjoyed barter sales and searching the dessert for treasures. Skip was a sucker for a good bargain and social event, and he was never one to turn away a good drink with friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
