Mary Jean Graham age 80 of Republic died on March 10, 2021 in Spokane.  She was born October 7, 1940 in Silvis, Illinois to parents Francis and Geraldine Schoenle.  Jeanne moved with her family several times throughout her childhood before settling in O'Neill, Nebraska where she graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School.  On October 4, 1958 she married Richard Allen Graham.  In 1966 they moved to Washington State first to Wilbur and then to Republic in 1969 where they purchased the Republic News Miner.  She supported local sports programs starting with Little League with her children and grandchildren.  She continued to support Republic sports and was often seen in the stands showing her support.  Jeanne was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was active in their fund-raising programs that supported the community and was known for her fudge and pies.  She was an avid lover of horses and enjoyed being out in nature especially walking and hiking.

Jeanne is survived by five children, Stephen Lee Graham of Tacoma, Michael Allen Graham of Tacoma, Judith Anne Graham-Bilos (Denis) of Lakewood, Thomas Christopher Graham of Republic and Daniel M. (Gina) Graham of Republic, one brother Don (Ronni Sue) Schoenle and family of Clinton, Iowa, and three grandchildren Drake, Richard, and Shania.

She was preceded in death by her sister Carlene Dagesse and her husband Richard Allen Graham.

Services will be held on Saturday March 27 ^th , 2021 at 10:00AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Kenny St. Hilaire officiating. Please follow all COVID guidelines. Memorials can be made to: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Republic Youth/Athletic programs, Arthritis (Rheumatoid) Foundation, or St. Jude's Children research programs.
