Marilyn Joanne Porter (Jo), 80 years old of Tonasket, WA went home to Jesus on March 29, 2026. Jo was born August 19, 1945, in Hastings, NE. At the age of 4 she moved with her family to Edmonds, WA where she spent her childhood. After raising her family in Monroe, WA, she moved to Tonasket in 1995 where she lived for the rest of her life. Those that knew her loved her. She deeply and unconditionally loved her family and friends. Jo was a faithful Seahawk fan (through good and rotten years). She was also passionate about her pets, loved her dog Duke and kept Tonasket's stray cat population and wild birds both well fed. She lived out her Christian faith and served faithfully at Crossroads Meeting Place in

Tonasket. Jo enjoyed gardening and always had her yard full of beautiful flowers. She enjoyed playing games of all kinds, including Scrabble and Pinochle with family and friends. Jo loved life, enjoying camping, snowmobiling, and just being at home. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and love for everyone around her.

She is survived by her husband Clyde H. Porter, her sister Carolyn Davis, her brother Stanley Carlson, and her sister Linda Gibler; her children Jeanette Heylen, Chris Graham, and Teresa Linder (Larry); Clyde's children Clyde Porter Jr., and Debbie Eden (Bob); along with her numerous

grandchildren and great grandchildren both hers and Clyde's (too many to list); along with many more beloved nieces, nephews and other extended family she was blessed with.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jo's life will be held at the Tonasket Foursquare Church, Crossroads Meeting Place on Saturday April 25th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to Crossroads Meeting Place in memory of Jo Porter.
