Obituary

Louis Daniel Piszker was born on March 30th, 1943 in Passaic, New Jersey to Louis Piszker and Claudia Santin. He grew up with his sisters Joanne (Harlan) and Janet in Lodi, New Jersey, graduating with honors from Lodi High School. He attended the Newark College of Engineering, graduating with a BSEE degree in 1965.

While in college, he met his beloved wife, Frances Kania, marrying her in 1964. Louis and Fran moved to Seattle in 1965 when Louis was offered a position at Boeing, where he worked for 34 years as an electrical engineer. Louis enjoyed playing classical Spanish guitar music, football and soccer, and traveling to Europe and road tripping across the United States, He was active in youth soccer as a coordinator and referee.

Lou and Fran moved to Republic, WA in 2005 after retirement. He was an active and devoted member of his church, Immaculate Conception and the Curlew Kai Homeowners Association.

Lou will be remembered as a kind and generous man with his love, knowledge, and opinions.

Louis passed away at home on August 31st, 2021 after a long illness and is survived by his wife Frances, his children Paul, Angela, and Malissa, his son in laws Jeff and Steven, his grandchildren Hayden, Morgan, and Claudia, his niece Alisa, his nephews Kenny and Harry, and his unofficially adopted son, Damon. Louis was preceded in death by his nephew Salvatore.

Louis' funeral mass will be held on Thursday September 9th at 11:30 AM at Immaculate Conception in Republic, WA with Father Kenny St. Hilaire officiating. Burial will follow at the Republic Cemetery.
