Obituary

Linda McDaniel

May 24, 1942  -  April 16, 2026

Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 16, 2026 and joined Dad.  She was born to Gladys and Max Ramey on May 24, 1942 at home in Oroville.  When mom was three, the family moved to California where she grew up and attended school.  After finishing high school, the family moved back to Washington.  In 1961 she met Robert McDaniel and they were married on May 20, 1961.  From this union three daughters were born.  Mom and Dad lived in town for a short time until they bought their dream property in Molson and stayed until Dad passed in 2021.  Mom belonged to many clubs, she was a 50-year member of the Molson Grange, Molson-Chesaw Fire Department, Okanogan Search & Rescue, Red Hat club, sewing club, Tonasket Seniors, Chesaw Rodeo Club, and she assisted Dad at the Tonasket Gun Club. Mom enjoyed many activities; she got to see many different states, enjoyed good conversations, and was always there to hug her friends & help in any way. She was known as "Grandma Molson" & "Mom" to all the extra kids that showed up with all of us.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) McDaniel, parents Max & Gladys Ramey, sister Diane Ramey, brother Roger Ramey, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her daughters; Gail (Jeff) Frazier of Oroville, Carol (Roger) Clark and Risa (Jason) Ross of Oroville and grandkids Jessica Anderson, Weylin Waleczak, Cameron Waleczak, Ryan Frazier, Scott Frazier, Adrian Ross, Hunter Ross, Bayley Ross and nine great grandchildren.

Mom, you are truly missed but I know you are with Dad now & pain free – rest easy.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026  11:00 AM at the Molson Cemetery with Lloyd Caton, Jr. officiating.
