Paul was active in Kitsap and Ferry County Search and Rescue. He volunteered as a Scout Master for Boy Scouts of America; was a Washington State Hunter Education instructor, Bowhunting instructor, and training officer for the Search and Rescue. He was a life member of
the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed the outdoors with hunting (as a Master Hunter), shooting, fishing, boating (especially the pontoon boat), and general tinkering at his homes in Allyn, Blyn and Republic.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Bill; his wife, Wanda; his brother, Gregory; and granddaughter Victoria.
Paul was a great son, brother, husband, father, Papa/grandpa and friend
