Leane Verbeck 88 of Tonasket died on October 11, 2026 at her home in Tonasket. She was born on February 25, 1938 in Tonasket to parents Walter and Ruth Lewis. Leane grew up in Tonasket and on December 10, 1954 she married Richard Verbeck. They continued to live in Tonasket where they raised their family. She was a member of the Tonasket Eagles.

Leane is survived by two children Rich Verbeck of Tonasket and Janet Culver of Concrete, eight grandchildren and one sister Gwen Sextro of Manson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, John and Jim.

At her request no services will be held.
