Laurence "Larry" Yale Rice, age 85, of Republic, WA died April 30, 2021 at home with wife Linda at his bedside. He was born on February 18, 936 in El Centro, Columbia, South America to parents Lester Y. & Irene M. Rice.

Larry & Linda met when he was stationed at Madigan General Hospital, Ft Lewis, WA. They married June 28, 1964. They lived 30 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Larry was affiliated with Pikes Peak Family Counseling Center as a Psychiatric Social Worker, having received his Masters of Social Work at Denver University, Colorado.

Larry and Linda are Jehovah's Witnesses, with a loving community of fellow believers throughout the world.

He is survived by his wife Linda L. (Walden) Rice, son Lance Yale Rice, Airway Heights, WA, grandson Cody Ryan (Samantha) Spencer, Charlotte, NC, brother-in-law & sister-in-law John & Sarah Walden, Albany, Oregon, nephews Luke (Michele) Walden & Isaac (Geneva)Walden, sister: Terri Looft, (Scott Wilson), Ft. Collins, Colorado nephew and nieces; Nicholas, Natasha, Libby, & Katy, step sister-in-law Jean Slagle Delaney, Republic, WA, cousins; Ruth Anderson and family, Republic, WA, Gloria (Travis), Greg Travis & Ron Travis, Janet Still, Lois Still Blandford, Sharon Still, & Barbara and Jess McKinney.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Laurinda Sue Rice, & brothers Neil & Ronnie Rice.
