June Marie Fox, age 91, of Tonasket passed away January 8th, 2026 at her daughter's home surrounded by the family she loved. She was born June 13th, 1934 to parents Arthur & Helen Lund in a small village on the Bog River in Minnesota. At a young age the family moved to a small farm in Tonasket where she and her siblings grew up.

When attending a grange hall dance, she met her soon to be husband, Vern Fox. They were married October 14th, 1955 and bought the family farm in Wauconda in 1962 where they raised their four children. When the children became school age she worked in the apple sheds, was a flagger for the county, assisted Vern with blasting jobs, and later working at the Wauconda Store & Café, enjoying friends and neighbors.  They both enjoyed fishing and gardening. When farm life became too difficult, they purchased a home in Tonasket. At the time of Vern's passing in 2016 at the age of 91, they had shared 61 years of marriage. We were truly blessed to have them for so many years.

June is survived by her children; Wayne Fox, Linda (Doug) Prichard, Deb (Jim) Blair, & Dan (Shelli) Fox, and sister Alice Perkins. She was preceded in death by parents Art & Helen Lund, husband Vern Fox, siblings Lois Holcomb, Eleanor Graves, & Bruce Lund.
