John Douglas Bryan, age 79 of Republic, Washington, died on December 8, 2016 in Spokane, WA.
Born on January 24, 1937 in Marshall North Carolina to Carl & Stella Bryan, John
Left Marshall N.C. to California then to Seattle where he met the love of his life Shirley. They moved to Republic Washington to 23 acres with a home they truly enjoyed until Shirley passed away in 2006. Johnny served in the United States Army and was a heavy
equipment operator for over 30 years. He worked on the Alaskan Pipeline for 5 years. John's passion was hunting, fishing & Trap shooting.
He enjoyed going back to North Carolina every October for his 1955 class reunion and dearly loved his entire family and they dearly loved him. He will be truly missed as he had a great smile and infectious laugh.
John is survived by children Sherry Ramsey, Vicki Sousa, Laurie King, Tina Woodbury and Lissa McGlamery; Son-in-laws Tim Ramsey and Jeff King; 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his Wife Shirley Bryan, his Mother Stella Bryan, Father Carl Bryan and Brother Jim Bryan.
Services were held Sunday, 11 December 2016 at 4pm at the Republic Eagles.
