Jimmie Troy Jeter, age 77, died on July 6, 2020 in Oroville, Washington. Jimmie was born in Greenville, Texas, on Texas' Independence Day, March 2, 1943 to his parents Aubrey Troy and Lillie (Foster) Jeter.

Jimmie graduated from Highlands High School in San Antonio & later attended Texas A&M for 1 and a half years. He met and married the love of his life, Letitia, in 1963 in San Antonio. He served in the U.S. Army before starting his career in the shipyards of Washington State. Jim retired from PSNS in 1997 and he and Tish shared great adventures together, including boating to Alaska and cruising all over the world before settling in the beautiful hills above Oroville, Washington.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Letitia (Nossal) Jeter, daughter Cynthia (Dennis) Griffey, brother Aubrey T. Jeter of Houston, Texas, and grandson David Griffey. He is preceded in death by his parents Aubrey Troy and Lillie (Foster) Jeter.
