Obituary

Jesse Russell Wagner lost his 5 year struggle with lung and kidney disease on March 8, 2016,
he was 64 years old. Jesse was the eldest son of Helen and Francis Wagner of Northumberland, PA. Jesse was a 1970 graduate of Shikellamy High School. Jesse came to Washington State in 1979 and settled in the Seattle area where he worked as a painter. He moved to Republic in 2006 after accepting the position of IUPAT painting instructor at Curlew Job Corp. Jesse had a passion for fishing and was always ready at a moment's notice to go "rip some lips" and always said that a bad day fishing was better than a good day at work . He loved the Republic area that offered him an abundance supply of "fish'n holes". His secondary hobby was watching the Food Network, then driving his wife nuts in the kitchen as he played out his culinary fantasies.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Francis
Wagner. He is survived by his wife Donna Wagner; his brother,
Terry (Yvonne) Wagner, of Northumberland, PA; step-daughter,
Robyn (Greg) Dore', grand-dog, King of Republic and Chinook, WA;
nephews, Brian and Sean Burns, great-nieces and nephews
and a whole host of Wagner relatives and close friends in Seattle and PA.
He will be missed by his beloved cats, Peanut & Sissy, and our beautiful
little princess, Lucy.

The family is deeply grateful for the kindness and tender care provided to Jess
by the Colville Fresenius Dialysis Center and the most tender care that was
given to him by Dr. Alrashedy, Mari Hunter, ARNP, and the nursing staff at FCPHD.

It was his desire to be laid to rest, alongside his parents,
in his beloved home state of PA.
