Jerome Allen "Jerry" Jorgensen, age 79, passed away on 10 May 2017 in Republic, Washington. He was born on August 17, 1937 in Toppenish, Washington to Parents Lawrence Jorgensen and Marie (LaPierre) Jorgensen.

Jerome started his career working for Madras Plywood. When the Mill burned down he then went to work for the Madras Trucks Stop for a short period of time before going onto lineman school, where he became a journeyman lineman. Some of his interests included sharing stories of his younger days, playing cards, fishing, reading, watching old western movies and going for drives. Many will remember him and miss him for his big smile, dimples, charm, joking wit and boisterous laughter that will be carried in many hearts for many years to come. One could say he helped light the way for others…Now Heaven has lit the way for Jerome to come home.

Jerome is survived by his five sons; Douglas (Marsha) of Madras, OR, Bradley (Denise) of Madras, OR, Brian (Penny) of Eagle Point, OR, Ray (Esther) of Redland, OR, and Anthony (AJ) Jorgensen of Seattle, WA., his two Daughters Julie (Wayne) Fletcher of Republic, WA. And Dawn (John) Hall of Madras, OR, brother Glen Jorgensen of Marysville, WA and sister-in-law Donna Jorgensen (Wife of Ron Jorgensen) of Naches, WA., Numerous Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Grand Children and Great Grandchildren.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Marie (LaPierre) Jorgensen, Sisters Renee Jorgensen, Mercedes (Mirth) Hovland, brothers Dean Jorgensen and Pierre (Ron) Jorgensen.
Services are to be held at 3pm, 5 August 2017 by Kerry Jorgensen at the home of Kevin and Tammy Jorgensen in Naches, Washington. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum.
