Obituary

Jack Giddings was born in Tonasket, Washington to Don and Belinda Giddings on Oct. 6, 1976. He left us unexpectedly on July 27, 2023.

He graduated from Republic High School in 1995. He played football and baseball throughout the years. Jack attended Spokane Falls Community College and earned his Associate of Arts in Diesel Mechanics. He formerly owned and operated Giddings Excavation LLC, and then began his most recent job for the City of Republic in the Public Works Department.

Hunting, fishing, camping, along with hiking in the woods are only but a few of his hobbies. He never missed his annual elk hunting trip, something he always looked forward to. Aside from his hobbies, he was well known for his sense of humor; the practical jokes he told always left you laughing in the end along with him. He was a family man. His kids always came first and he was simply a wonderful father. The love for each of them was beyond measurable. And most of us could all agree that he always was one who could be counted on and would offer a helping hand in any way he could. Jack wore his heart on his sleeve.

Survivors include his daughter Emera; his four sons, Jayden, Jace, Justice and Colton; his sister Shelly; Grandma Kathryn; his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind his best friend and partner, Nicole Willett.

Jack is preceded in death by his son Brian and parents Don and Belinda.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, 11 a.m. at the Republic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Republic Cemetery.
