** A Celebration of Life for Imogene "Jeannie" Zerck will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Curlew Civic Hall, followed by a graveside service at the Curlew Cemetery, followed by a luncheon back at the Curlew Civic Hall.**
Imogene "Jeannie" Zerck
Jeannie met the lord's angels at the river on December 11,2021. Jeannie was born in Barbourville, Ky on June 29,1941 to Hershell and Minnie Anderson. Jeannie attended school in Kentucky until they moved to Portage,Indiana where she finished high school. After high school Jeannie worked as a waitress and Bank Teller.
Jeannie met Bob in 1963 and they were married on January 12,1964. They lived in Indiana for a few of those years where Lesa, Lori and Bobby were born.
Bob and Jeannie packed up the family and moved to what they said was God's country here in Washington in 1974. Jeannie worked at the Republic Hotel and Goldie's Cafe in Curlew as a waitress until their daughter Robyn came along in 1982.
Jeannie was a loving , caring, and supportive mom and Nana to all. From time to time she took others in that needed a place to stay. She was amazing cook, gardener, food & canning lady. Jeannie was always in the kitchen cooking up meals and if you stopped by you never left her home hungry. Jeannie took pride in mowing her yard even if it was multiple times a week. You could often times roll into the ranch and find her on the mower or sitting on the back porch admiring her flowers.
Jeannie and Bob had dream to build a legacy for the future generations. They left behind a beautiful ranch for all the Children , grandchildren and great children to come together at.
Jeannie is proceeded in death by her husband Bob of 57 years, parents, 3 brothers, and a sister and a son in law. Jeannie is survived by her children Lesa(Rob), Lori(Eric),Bobby(Tammi), and Robyn(Tony), 9 beautiful grandchildren, and 11 beautiful great grandchildren.
The family will hold a Celebration of life for Jeannie in the spring.
