Helen S. Sperring age 61 of Republic died on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane. She was born September 17, 1953 in Enumclaw, WA to parents Clarence and Geraldine Mallery. Helen was raised in Enumclaw where she attended school. While growing up she was active with 4-H and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1971. On March 22, 1975 she married Kevin Sperring in Enumclaw and in 1979 they moved to Bonney Lake. Helen worked at Heath Techna Aerospace for over 20 years and following retirement moved to Republic with her husband. Helen worked at Ferry County Memorial Hospital one day a week to keep active and enjoyed visiting with the patients there. She also worked on call for the Republic and Curlew Schools. One of Helen's biggest joys was travelling to the Caribbean with her husband.
Helen is survived by:
Husband: Kevin of Republic
4 Brothers: Jim Mallery, Joe Mallery, George Mallery and Donald Mallery
Numerous Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gerry Kay Holdener
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 1:00PM at the Republic Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
