Gloria Mae Crowley Butler

January 10, 1938 – August 7, 2026

Gloria Mae (Blank) Crowley Butler, 88 years, of Republic, WA passed away on August 7, 2026. She was born on January 10, 1938 in Wenatchee, WA to Ben Blank and Juanita Goins and adoptive parents Miles and Mae Crowley. She was raised in Seattle, WA and graduated from Ballard High School in 1956. After graduation, she moved to Republic and on April 14, 1967 she married Ben Butler and they moved to their forever home at Miyoko Point on Lake Roberta. Over the years, she held numerous jobs contributing to the community. She obtained her CNA and EMT certificates, drove

school bus for the Republic School District and held many other jobs in the community. She volunteered her time to many causes, including the Forget Me Not Animal Shelter, and several lucky dogs found their lives forever changed after being adopted by her!

She loved her time snow skiing, panning for gold, camping and doing her crafts and sewing.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ben Butler, of the family home; children Patty Rosse (Peter) of Bellingham, WA, Tracy Palmier (Greg) of Republic, Kellie Spurgeon (Jody) of Cheney, WA, Benji Butler (Brandy) of Greycliff, MT; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons Tim and Daniel.

She loved her family, friends and community and will be looking for you all in heaven.

Funeral services will be held at the Republic Nazarene Church, 421 E 6th St, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11am. Burial at Republic Cemetery immediately following.
