Glenda Darlene Preston age 65 of Oroville died on Monday, January 25, 2016 at her home in Oroville. She was born Glenda Darlene Gideon on October 23rd 1950 in Taneyville, Missouri in the Ozark Mountains the seventh child of five brothers and two sisters to Opal Fay and Maynard (Bearl) Gideon. Her family moved to Oroville in 1955.
Glenda was an amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend to many. Glenda was a fabulous cook and was famous for her cheesecake!
She is survived by her loving husband Robert (Bob) of Oroville. Her children Boyd Preston (Holly) of Quesnel B.C., Tammy Battersby (Mark) of Grand Forks B.C., Wayne Wisdom (Martha) Tonasket WA. and Tracy Sadler (Michael) of Republic WA. Brother Jack Gideon (Linda) Burns OR., Sister Patti Gideon of Oroville WA., 17 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren and many special Nieces, Nephews and many Dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister
Services will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 11:00 AM at Valley Christian Fellowship 142 East Oroville Rd. Oroville, WA with Pastor Randy McAllister, officiating. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Care-Net of Oroville and Omak Oncology & Infusion.
