Obituary

Glen Lee Lusk went to brighter pastures to be with the Lord on October 30, 2026, at home with his wife and grandson Jeremy at his bedside. Glen did it his way right to the end. For 87 years, that was pretty much how Glen approached life. Glen was born in Rigby, Idaho, on February 23, 1939. His life as a cowboy started early. At around 7 years old, he began helping his brother Al pack dudes into the mountains of Idaho. Glen would ride ahead with a team of mules and start setting up camp, taking on responsibilities at an age when most kids had far fewer worries. At the age of 13 he moved to the Tonasket area where he began working as a ranch hand to help out, beginning what would become a lifelong connection to cattle, horses, ranching, and the land. Over the years, Glen tried his hand at a few occupations. He spent time trucking, bartending while he went to school to learn the art of saddle making, made saddles, and ran an orchard. Making him a jack of all trades. Eventually, he returned to the work he loved most: being on a ranch and in the saddle. His final job was with Jim Murphy, where he spent 17 years running 350 head of cattle before retiring. Although Glen lived periods of his life in various other locations, Tonasket was the place he called home.

Glen is survived by his wife Jackie Lusk of 35 years, children: Sonya Severson, Shane Lusk, Wade Lusk, Brent Lusk, grandchildren: Katy Cook, Jason/Summer Cook, Savannah Wright, Brandon Severson, Jeremy/Elsy Lusk, Kristina/Thomas Heavey, Brenda Lusk, Jacob Lusk, Halle Lusk, Mika Lusk, Brody Lusk, great grand kids: Isaac Cook, Ryland Cook, Emma B Cook, Faith Lusk, Kali Lusk, Thomas Jasmine Heavey, Ella Severson, Ocean Wright, and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by: parents Dad Albert Lusk, Mom Nettie Dailey, Siblings: Virginia Lusk, Ethel Lusk, Albert (AL) Lusk, Florence/Bob Hillis, Marie Lusk, and great grandson: Vincent Cook.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Tonasket Eagles on November 21, 2026 @ 11:00 AM.
