Frank Faiman born August 4th, 1949 died on July 26, 2026 in Tonasket, WA.

Frank came to America from Trieste, Italy with his parents around 1956. When he arrived in the U.S. his given name was Gionfranco Faiman. When he became a citizen a few years later the judge changed his name to John Frank Faiman. Which never sat right with him. He lived on the East Coast in New York and New Jersey before coming to Washington. In his early teens he was a member of the greaser gang; Astoria Saddle Tramps. After graduating from Sterling High, he entered the Navy. He served on the USS Ernest G. Small as a Throttleman. After the Navy he did some hitchhiking around the states. He worked in construction doing masonry and brick work. He also went to Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia.

Frank came to Washington in the late 70’s early 80’s a couple of times before he stayed. He worked in a few different areas before settling in Oroville. While in Oroville he worked on pulling up the old railroad tracks and in the apple orchards. He ended up working for Oro Fruit where he met Janna. They started living together in 1993. They married in 2015 on top of Toats Coulee at Corral Butte fire lookout. Frank and Janna loved the outdoors and were in the woods almost every weekend. They enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and just being together.

Frank was the most loving, compassionate, selfless, caring man. He tried to help people however he could. He loved spending time with the family, especially his daughter Jessica and grandkids Adriana, Damion an Elsie. Frank was deeply loved by his family and he will be deeply missed.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Nella Faiman, his younger brother Bill Faiman and his daughter Danielle.

Frank is survived by his wife, Janna, daughter, Jessica and grandchildren, Adriana, Damion and Elsie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oroville American Legion on Saturday, August 29th from 2PM to 4PM.
