Florence "Flo" Ahearn, age 86 of Curlew died January 22, 2012 at her home in Curlew. She was born in Yonkers, New York to Martin and Florence Catherine (King) Holleran on July 30, 1925. Flo was raised in New York and married Cornelius Ahearn there. They were married for 45 years when he preceded her in death in 1995. They moved to New Jersey for many years and there she worked as a waitress and cook. Flo moved to Colorado and later to Curlew to be closer to family. She enjoyed and attended the Curlew Catholic Church. Flo also enjoyed visiting and reminiscing about her time in New York. She was a very caring person and was always there to help.

4 Daughters: Maureen Olton of Curlew; Karen Bowman of Pennsylvania; Christine Ahern of Curlew; and Tara Benton of Republic

6 Grandchildren: Jeb Olton, Mark (Oley) Olton, Daniel Bowman, Erin Bowman, Ryan Ahearn and Billy Benton

2 Great Grandchildren: Olivia Olton and Kylie Olton

She was preceded in death by her husband, and 2 sons: Michael and Mark
