Douglas Kirk Sprague 67 years. Born in Seattle Washington 1/12/1959, passed away peacefully at his home in Tonasket, Washington on 3/27/2026, surrounded by his family in the house he had built.  Doug was a big hearted man with an infectious personality, he always had a smile and joke to get the whole room laughing.  Doug lived in the greater Seattle area for the first half of his life starting his career in auto body repair, where he met his wife, and curated many life long friendships. Doug was a devoted husband to his wife Michelle, an exceptional father to their three sons Deven, Damon, and Dylan and an adoring grandfather to ten grandchildren. Doug moved his family to Tonasket in 1996 once construction of their house was complete with the help of family and friends. To say he had a passion for (tinkering, playing, working) with cars would be an understatement, and in 2001 Doug opened his restoration shop at their home where he worked giving life and his own touch to countless custom and classic cars, he always said if you love what you do, it's not work, it's fun.
Doug's long list of friends and family that cared for him shows the kind of person he was. We will all remember him for the good company, one line jokes, and kindness he has shown to us all. He will be forever missed at car shows, swap meets, shop nights, and family dinners. But will always be
remembered when we see one of the many cars he restored driving through town, and in the memories and laughter we share.
