Donald Keith
Evans
December 17, 1964 – July 15, 2018
Donald Keith Evans, age 53, went on his final ride Sunday, July 15th, 2018.
Don is survived by his wife Jennifer McDonnell-Evans of Republic, his daughters, Nikkole Evans of Wenatchee, Jasmine Campbell of Republic, Kacey (Evans) Vasquez of Mary Esther, Florida, Tia Campbell of Republic and many other loved family members.
Don was born at Fairchild Airforce Base in Spokane, Washington to the late Paul and Delores Evans.
He grew up in Pinehurst, Idaho until the age of fifteen when he ventured off to start his life. He moved to Montana for a time before making his way to Washington.
After many jobs including wild firefighting, snow grooming, and grocery management, he finally found his passion working construction. While driving around Washington state, he told stories of water systems, sidewalks, state parks, sewer systems, subdivision developments and the many other projects that he was a part of.
His accomplishments are too many to list. One of his most significant achievements was working alongside Pat and Sue King to build KRCI Construction.
In 1984, he married Glennia Nunn and had two beautiful daughters, Nikkole and Kacey. They lived in Peshastin, Washington for 20+ years. He also helped raise his niece and nephew, Kathy and Alex Kelly. They spent most of their time in Derby Canyon snowmobiling, hunting, and camping.
In 2010, he met his current wife, Jennifer (Hotty), and grew his family to include two more beautiful daughters, Jazzy and Tia. He was also blessed with two grandsons Eli and Keaton Nutt.
His last five years were spent accumulating everything he had always dreamed of while working hard and playing harder. Don used every minute of the day on the things he loved. He died the way he lived: Trying to get every minute of the day used up doing the things he loved.
