Deborah Inez Mycock age 63 of Republic died on May 18, 2022 in Republic.  Deborah was born to Houston Thompson and Carol Hutchinson on October 3, 1958.  Deborah's grandmother, Leona Hutson, was a midwife so Carol went to her house in Deer Park where Deborah was born.  Deborah met Starkey Mycock in Missoula where they fell in love and later married in Deer Park in 1975.  They then bought their first home in Dryden in 1977 where their first son, Eric, was born two years later.  In about 1983 they moved to Cashmere and a year later Josh was born.  Deborah loved to help and take care of people, so she decided to go into healthcare.  In 1989 Deborah and Starkey moved to Republic where she continued working in healthcare in Ferry County.  Deborah was kind and caring and always looked for the good in people.  Deborah was known for her positive attitude and always being happy-go-lucky.  Deborah's family and friends meant the world to her and she will be missed tremendously by them all.

Deborah is survived by her mother Carol Hutchinson, sons, Eric Mycock and Josh Mycock, brothers and sisters Dale Day, Shaun Day, Cathleen Balfour and Danette Thompson, grandchildren Wyatt Mycock, Garrett Mycock, Amber Mycock, Kyle Mycock, Keaylie Mycock and Arionna Hinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Starkey Mycock, father Houston Thompson, brother Doug Thompson and sister Sherrie Gunard.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022  2:00 PM at the Republic Cemetery with Charles Chittim Jr. officiating.  Memorials may be sent to Eric Mycock 1924 Driskill Rd. Newport, WA  99156
