Dana F. McGowan, age 73, of Republic died June 25, 2021. He was born August 31, 1947 in Republic to parents James and Marie McGowan. He lived in Republic all his life. He loved to cut wood and help people. Dana was the custodian at the Republic School for 20 years. He helped his parents with the ranch and rodeo stock. He loved to drop by and visit his friends. He didn't need to know you to enjoy a conversation with you.

He is survived by his older brother Patrick McGowan and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
