Cheryl Ramsey, age 69, of Republic passed away on April 11, 2020 in Republic, Washington.

Cheryl was born on August 31, 1950 in Moses Lake, Washington to her parents Buell and Wanda Berg. Raised on the family farm in Othello, Cheryl developed a love for the outdoors and hard work at a young age. During her college years, she could be found protesting and supporting civil rights, traveling across the US, and cutting hair to make a living. As an adult, she was a strong supporter of land and wildlife conservation, and preferred to spend her time outside. Gardening, collecting farm animals, and attending blues festivals were among her favorite pastimes. Her strength and perseverance were among her most admirable traits, but she was best known for her cooking, her kindness, and being "Nina's Mom." A loving mother, auntie, and friend, Cheryl will be greatly missed.

Cheryl is survived by her daughter Nina (Brent) Novikoff, nephew Joseph Meyer, and niece Erica Berg Engh.
