Obituary


Bob Ferguson of Republic passed
away on July 4, 2013 at his home.
Bob, a longtime Ferry County resident
was 79 at the time of his passing. Bob
graduated from Wilbur High School
in 1953 and married his high school
sweetheart, Dorothy Miller. Bob went
right to work driving logging trucks
for his father for three years. He then
worked for a rock crushing company
for another 3 years before settling in Republic. Bob worked
in the mill at Knob Hill Mines for twenty years until the
mine shut down. Bob then went to work at the Chevron
Bulk Plant driving deliveries for another twelve years before
working for Hecla Mine's Refinery for five years until
that mine shut down. Retired in 1995, Bob and his wife
Dorothy then took some much deserved time to travel in
their RV.


Bob was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribes.
Bob is survived by his wife Dorothy, his sons Lonnie
(Corky) Ferguson, Larry (Karen) Ferguson and his daughter
Lory (Wayne) Zamagne. Bob is also survived by 8 grandchildren
and 6 great grandchildren.


Bob was proceeded in death by his parents – Ed & Lila
Ferguson, a great grandson, his brother Ray Ferguson and
wife Donna, and his sister Gerry Wishaar and husband
Wallace.


Services will be held on July 13, 2013 at 1 pm at the
Trinity Lutheran Church in Republic. Pastor Ken Schauer
will officiate. Memorials may be given to the Republic Cemetery.
Bergh Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
