Betty Lois Smith-Rodriguez, age 50, of Oroville, died December 21, 2011 in Wenatchee. She was born March 11, 1961 to Fred and Elizabeth (Durham) Smith in Turrel, Arkansas. Betty came to Oroville in 1981 and worked for some years in the apple warehouses. For the last 11 years she had been working as a caregiver for the elderly.

Betty met and married Antonio (Tony) Rodriguez and together they were raising her niece and nephew in Oroville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
