Beryl Joyce Curtis, 78, of Tonasket died November 15, 2011. She was born January 26, 1933 in Omak, WA to parents Louie and Jessie Zabreznik.
Beryl , the eldest of 5 children, spent her growing up years in Aeneas Valley living on the family ranch. She attended the Aeneas Valley School during her early school years then lived with her grandparents in Omak to attend and graduate from Omak High School in 1949.
She married William Hamilton and moved to Tonasket where they had 3 children. During this time of her life Beryl had several different jobs...packing apples, waitressing at Don's Drive-In and babysitting.
November 12, 1968 she married Roy Curtis at Coeur d'alene, Idaho and their families merged together.
Beryl is survived by her husband Roy at home, their children Bruce Curtis, Rancho Cordova, Ca; Janice Truax, Omak; Lori Nick, Tonasket ; Dennis Curtis, Linwood and Bill Hamilton, Kent, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her brothers Donnie, Clyde and Rodney, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Jessie Zabreznik, her sister, Sylvia and daughter Susan.
Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be held November 26th at 2pm at the Tonasket Senior Center.
