Art Burbank's Obituary
Clarence Arthur "Art" Burbank, age 87 of Republic, Washington, passed away in Republic on December 24, 2016.
Art was born on October 19, 1929 in Wauconda, WA., he moved to Republic with his family in 1945 where they ran the dairy. Following his service in the United States Army he returned home to Republic and in 1953 married Alice Cheetam Laurie.
He worked various jobs before working at Knob Hill Mine. He worked at the mine from 1961 until it closed in 1978. He then farmed and raised cattle.
He is survived by; sons Cameron Laurie and Robert Burbank, two granddaughters Arika (Monte) Kurtz; Lea (Eric) Roth; three great grandchildren Kyle, Cody and Kendall, brothers Russell, Gary & Harold and Sisters Norma & Francis
Art was preceded in death by his wife Alice; and siblings Jay, Merle, Arloa, Lois & Juanita.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, & all who knew him.
A celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
