Arnold "John" Shaw, age 64, of Tonasket, Washington died on November 30, 2019 at North Valley Hospital.

John Shaw was born on September 13, 1955 in Sedro Wolley, Washington to his parents Anna Marie and "A" Jackson Shaw.

John was a 12 year graduate of Brewster High School. In his youth he enjoyed team roping and rodeo. He operated heavy equipment for many years and embraced the challenge of taking bare land and making something useful and beautiful. He loved being in the mountains and spent as much time there as he could. For many years he worked as a hunting guide here and in Idaho. He loved to get together with his friends and tell stories about his adventures hunting and horseback riding in the mountains. He made many friends in his journey through life and will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his spouse Belinda Spellman, his father Jack Shaw, his children Samantha Brooks & husband Cameron Brooks and Cody Shaw & wife Lexi Shaw, his sisters Connie Roberts & husband Bill Roberts and Janiece Simpson & husband Jay Simpson, and his 4 grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his Mom Anna Marie Shaw.
