Alfred "Fred" Roy Woodruff was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 1 ^st , 2021. He was born in Republic on August 13 ^th , 1946 to Al and Evy Woodruff. He attended Republic High for a time and was later home schooled. He was a gifted artist in many mediums, and had a wonderful talent for growing all kinds of plants, especially orchids. He enjoyed being outdoors and watching wildlife, fishing, and horseback riding particularly.

He married Lori Crow on August 26th, 1970 and they had two children, Misty Mae and Roy Edwin. Fred traveled and lived in several states and held many different jobs. He lived in Minot, North Dakota for a time, moved to Spokane and then back to his hometown of Republic where he spent his final years.

Fred leaves behind his daughter and son and one granddaughter, his brothers Bob and Don and sister Patty and their spouses, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will take place at a later date.
